When your client is a church with an active and multi-generational congregation, it provides an interesting challenge. How do you create a site that is everything to everyone, while providing a look that is clean, uncluttered, and easy to navigate?
FPCNC was founded in New Canaan more than 60 years ago, and as such has deep ties in the community while continuing to be actively involved in their place in the world through their commitment to service. We worked in conjunction with dedicated volunteers from among their congregation to realize the vision of a modern, sleek and interactive website.
Starting from the Celtic cross which is emblematic of their Scottish heritage, we ensured every page highlighted the beautiful differences that make this church so unique. All of our imagery was drawn from the church’s photo archives, and the text was a truly communal effort on the part of the pastors and members of the congregation. The result is a multi-functional site designed not only for future members of their community, but one which reflects who they are today, and through their calendars, news, and blogging, allows them to see the evolution of their journey.
