2008 nu
Four years ago we designed our own website using some of the newest technology at the time. Our company had only one office and a specific demographic to reach.
Our demands included:
- Visually pleasing
- Fast-loading times
- Easy navigation
- Blog technology
As we launched we thought, “Oh, we’ll be able to have this for a long time!” (Silly us).
Oh How Things Change!
Over the course of 4 years, social media became more prominent, Flash became less user and browser friendly, multi-platform solutions were becoming more important, and many new bells & whistles were being showcased. While we were able to keep up with the changing pace for our clients, we fell short on our own website.
2012 re-nu
As we began working on the goals for 2012, we knew we needed to re-design the site. We now have three offices, work for many dynamic companies in different areas, and have more services to offer.
The best way to start was to put ourselves through the same process we use with our clients. We asked all the tough questions, created dense navigations, sourced photos, re-designed pages, and took advantage of new HTML5 and CSS3 tools.
Our demands included:
- Visually pleasing
- Fast-loading times
- Easy navigation
- Blog technology
- Showcase our services and process
- Mobile and tablet ready
- Equipped with Social Media feeds
- User friendly
- Room for growth
- Easy up-keep
Looking forward, we are very interested to see how integrated marketing will continue to change with the media markets. After this experience, we are humbled, to be sure.
