For the fourth year in a row we’ve been given the All Star Award by our email marketing partner Constant Contact. The award is meant to highlight companies that have provided exceptional email marketing support to their clients and we’re excited that we’ve been able to do so. But we couldn’t have done this four years in a row without the continued commitment from our wonderful clients. When thinking about that makes our clients successful, these three points came to mind.
Integrate, Plan and Engage
Three things that make a difference in email marketing.
1. Integrate with your marketing plan. You can really benefit from a consistent brand message and offering. Our clients always use marketing messages that steer people back to the website or promotion with clarity.
2. Editorial calendars. We’ve always stressed that consistency is one of the best ways to have a successful email marketing campaign. If you have mapped out your editorial calendar, you can actually plan your posts in advance and save time.
3. Engaging the audience. Providing diverse and action oriented content is paramount but what do you want the reader to do next? Clear call-to-actions to blog posts or promotions on your site will have your audience engaging with ease.
