It’s We-Draw-Wednesday and we have spring fever! With warm weather and chocolate bunnies heading our way, we’re featuring Gianna’s spring-time illustration.
“When I was working on this, I was really exploring ways to bring hand-painted charm to a digital piece. I used watercolors to paint colorful textures on different papers and scanned them into the computer. Then, using photoshop and illustrator, I layered the different textures over each other like a collage. Adding solid outlines helped my shapes to really pop, and balanced out the super-sweet pastel colors”.
