Up here in New England we awoke to sleet and snow, with a wind blowing in from the Atlantic. An early arrival of winter for sure. I laid there rest assured that all was well. I had prepared. Just yesterday, I raked the leaves to the street for pickup, I got out the snow shovels and made sure the sand/salt was in the bin. I didn’t anticipate the weather, in fact that came as a complete surprise, but I just was planning ahead.
Collecting Nuts
Sometimes, a bit of reflection is all the foresight you need. Those squirrels know what they’re doing. They run around like, well, squirrels getting as many nuts stored as possible. What’s the takeaway? Plan ahead, trust your past experiences, learn some new tricks.
Right now, we are working with clients to make their 2011 marketing plans, especially for their websites. We’re suggesting to reflect on the past couple of years of development. Look at what has been successful and should go forward into 2011 and what can we change. To make sure we don’t leave any stone unturned, we are discussing platforms, blogs, social network integration and mobile marketing. Not everything is appropriate to each client, but a good understanding will make for a great 2011.
