At Nurenu, we really enjoy exploring art and letting our creative sides show. We express our creativity in many ways; through illustrations, website and graphic design, and even through more traditional art mediums.
But what if you don’t have a lot of time for creative pursuits? There is still so much you can do- and we love photography! Since you’re most likely carrying a smartphone with you, that means you’ve already got everything you need. Camera quality in hand-held devices is now on par with a lot of stand-alone cameras. And even if you are typically more technically inclined, photography might still be for you – there’s so much you can do in a measurable way, while still playing in a creative space.
Our backend developer, Emily, really enjoys photography in general, and particularly black and white photography. She recently had a chance to take this photo of an antique printing press showcased by our client, the New Canaan Historical Society, at their Ice Cream Social. The press was built between 1822-1830 and is one of only about 20 in existence.
