I’ve spent the week blogging about Planning and it’s been a real learning experience for me. I planned out the week a while back, knowing this is the season we at Nurenu like our clients to think about their company’s plans. If we reflect on the past, discuss the present and envision the future, we will be in better shape to steam forward.
- Past: If our clients have been with us for a while they come prepared – their workbooks, binders and benchmarks tell the story of the past, done.
- Present: We talk about how we did against our benchmarks, goals achieved and challenges met, done.
- Future: Then we get to the fun part, planning for next year!
In Practice: Taking Getting Along to a New Level
The latest Nurenu Summit lunch was with two clients who have crafted the fine art of getting along. Lisa Corrado of Lisa Corrado Nutrition and Dr. Heather Gansel of CORE, the center for fitness and chiropractic care. Our mission was to plan some cooperative marketing integration for the new year. These clients have worked to help grow each others businesses for a number of years and the results are impressive. They can tell you what it means in revenue for them to do this!
Linking Healthy Tips and Fitness Facts
Over the last year, a specific trend created an interesting cooperative marketing opportunity. Turns out that both businesses have clients who travel extensively. These clients need to make healthy eating decisions and build in fitness easily. Lisa Corrado, owner of Lisa Corrado Nutrition, has a great program calledHealthy-on-the-Go already in place with two successful blogs, one with tips and the other called the Recipe Box. Right away we could see how Lisa’s company could provide content for the travelers and make it available to CORE to use in their e-mails, website, and social media. Now for CORE, Heather has long provided individualizedfitness tips for clients and is ready to prepare some short fitness videos to address proper exercise form. Heather can provide that information in more of a specific form for travelers who want to take advantage of fitness both inside and outside. This information will be made available to Lisa to augment her e-newsletters, website and social media. Done and done, plan in place.
Thank you to both clients for letting me shamelessly promote their great synergy. I can only hope everyone is thinking of who they can cooperatively market with to make 2011 a fantastic year!
